Free is real
ONA.UNO’s Free plan is not a trial. It includes the full app, unlimited items and sources, and a wide range of AI features with no expiration.
Every ONA.UNO user gets:
- AI titles, tags, and micro summaries generated automatically
- Embeddings and semantic search across all your content
- Chat with Knowledgebase: ask questions about ONA.UNO itself
- Unlimited items, sources, and sets with no artificial caps
- 3 device activations
- Full export and copy workflows: Markdown, citations, drag-and-drop
These are not limited previews. They work the same on Free and Pro.
What Pro adds
Advanced AI actions are the features that use cloud LLMs to work with your content in depth. They are powerful and they are what Pro unlocks without limits.
- Chat across your knowledge: not just one note at a time. Ask questions against a single item, a selection, or your entire library of 100,000+ items. Every successful prompt and response counts as one action, so a conversation with ten follow-ups uses ten.
- Deep summaries: day and daypart summaries that synthesize dozens or hundreds of items into a coherent picture. Full item summaries that go far beyond the automatic micro summary.
On Free, these are available but limited: 200 in your first month, then 10 per month.
On Pro, there is no counter.
Advanced AI actions use your OpenRouter API key. ONA.UNO does not charge for AI usage, but cloud LLM costs apply on both plans. See LLM Cost (OpenRouter).
Micro summary regenerations stay free and do not consume Advanced AI actions, but they still require a valid ONA.UNO license.

ONA.UNO is not a silo. You can export chat transcripts, copy summaries with or without citations, copy original content, and drag items out of the timeline as Markdown at any time, on any plan.
