Built-in help features in ONA.UNO

ONA.UNO includes integrated help features that give you quick access to guidance, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Walkthrough

Start the walkthrough either by clicking the walkthrough button (ⓘ icon) at the bottom-right of the status bar, or by choosing Help → Show Walkthrough.

The walkthrough highlights key controls across the toolbar, sidebar, and status bar, with step-by-step explanations. It covers:

  • Search scope, fuzzy matching, and advanced search
  • Chat scope controls and sidebar tabs
  • Status indicators (OpenRouter, network/Web Access), Retry actions, pipeline info, and cost

Most walkthrough steps include a More info button inside the popover. It opens the most relevant page on ona.uno/doc so you can go deeper immediately.

You can run it as many times as you like—it always starts fresh from the beginning.

Chat with Knowledge Base

Click the KB button in the toolbar (to the right of the chat buttons), or choose Help → Chat with Knowledgebase, to open a dedicated chat where you can ask questions about how to use ONA.UNO.

ONA.UNO includes its full documentation (the same content published at ona.uno/doc) as a built-in knowledge base, so you can ask things like:

  • “How do I search by date?”
  • “How does chat scope work?”
  • “Where can I change the model?”

The KB button is disabled while the documentation is being prepared (you’ll see a “Preparing documentation…” tooltip). Once ready, click it to enter help mode and start chatting.

Successful Knowledgebase chat does not consume Advanced AI actions.

Help Menu

The Help menu in the menu bar provides additional options:

  • Show Walkthrough – Starts the guided tour
  • Chat with Knowledgebase – Opens the built-in documentation chat
  • Open ONA.UNO Website – Opens the ONA.UNO homepage (ona.uno) in your browser
  • Open ONA.UNO Documentation – Opens the documentation site (ona.uno/doc) in your browser
  • Show Keyboard Shortcuts – Opens the keyboard shortcuts reference in your browser
  • Contact Support – Opens the support page in your browser
